Great Wall phases out the production of Voleex C10

The brand is focused on the development of the SUV lineup

In the end of 2013 Great Wall Motors, the partner of the Bulgarian automotive producer Litex Motors, who produce Great Wall cars for Europe, seized the production of the compact hatchback – Voleex C10 in all plants of the brand in the world. Despite the great results being the second best-selling compact car in 2012 and third best-selling in 2013, it will be no longer produced in the Litex Motors Plant.

Earlier in 2013, Great Wall Motors stressed on the importance of their SUV lineup and separated it as a wholly new brand – the “HAVAL” brand. This is the main reason why the Great Wall Voleex C10, was discontinued.

The change of the production focus of GWM will have no negative effect whatsoever on the aftersales and servicing support for the model, and its owners.

Great Wall Motors is the largest privately-owned manufacturer and exporter in China. GWM is the brand with the best-selling and most popular SUV for the last 5 consecutive years, and the best-selling and most popular pickups since year 2000. The Great Wall and HAVAL brand is being sold in over 130 countries worldwide, including countries from the European Union. GWM are the first and currently still the only independent Chinese automotive brand which has the European WVTA for sales and type approval if its product in the EU.

The new Great Wall H6, which started production in the Litex Motors plant on 27.11.2013 is the best-selling SUV in China for 2012 and 2013. It also holds the title “SUV of the year”.
